Description
Montelukast (often sold under the brand name Singulair) is a prescription oral medication used to prevent asthma attacks, control year-round and seasonal allergies, and prevent exercise-induced breathing difficulties. It works by blocking leukotrienes, which are inflammatory chemicals the body releases when encountering triggers.
